Guidelines for Call-In Revision Committee

Committee Members will be comprised of: President Dan Cunningham, as per constitution & by-laws of Local 282; Call-In Committee Chairman Marty Barrett;>>> 1 dues paying member of 282 from each opportunity box.

*Vote to be held according to 282 Constitution & By-Laws

A drawing of those who signed up to be chosen for this committee will be held at the union office.  (All are welcome to observe.) There will be an alternate chosen for each opportunity box at this time.

(1.)           All dues paying members are eligible to be selected to their current box. 

(2.)           There will be one member chosen from each of their current opportunity box.  Total of 5.

Example:

 1 member from 0 years to 8 years    1 opportunity

           1      “          “    9    “    to 14     “     2 opportunities

          1      “          “   15    “    to 19    “      3         “

          1      “          “   20    “    to 24     “     4         “     

          1      “          “   25 years +                 5         “     

(3.)           The results of the committee’s recommendation will be final with the approval of legal counsel.

(4.)           The vote will be for the committee’s new call-in rules or stay the same as it is now.

(5.)           The results will be in place for 2 years from the date of adoption by the union membership.  (No Tweaking)
