It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Thomas M. Gallagher of IAFF Local 280-Syracuse, New York. Brother Gallagher, 59, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from cancer. The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13129, (315) 468-3443). The funeral will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 South Orchard Road, Syracuse, New York 13219.
